My first real ultra—110 kilometers across Istria, 4,000 meters of elevation gain, 15 hours on my feet, and one unforgettable journey. With an old ankle injury, minimal long runs, and a heart full of doubt, I toed the line in Buzet not knowing if I’d make it to the finish.
